Yosemite takes an additional step, introducing "context-based Chinese input methods," which take the emerging context of the sentence into account in choosing/ordering suggestions/candidates as you type.Mavericks introduced better dictionaries for the Pinyin input methods, better trackpad handwriting (tolerates poor or nonexistent stroke order), and better support for mainland Chinese social media, search, and email.Mavericks introduced two new Chinese font families, for a total of ten since Mountain Lion, plus five new TC fonts within the Kaiti and Songti families.Mavericks and Yosemite are similar with regard to Chinese, with ongoing improvements built upon the changes introduced in Mountain Lion. ![]()
